lol Well I guess I just wanted my cat to be happy and I have seen my friend's cat who is also a house cat just walking around all day and getting bored it's like those zoo animals locked inside a cage. Cats are predators and just love to explore but I guess if I actually spend time trying to amuse it it probably wouldn't mind staying inside either. I have also seen people keeping their cats leashed in their backyards and letting it walking around outside without it getting too far away lol.

If it is born in side, raised inside, it won't likely be a depressed cat... zoo animals are wild, cats are not. My brothers cat is scared of the outside... ohmy.gif lol and besides, wouldn't you like your cat inside most of the time, instead of it being at risk in the out doors, especially cars. I've seen way too many cats get hit already... sad.gif

Yeah I guess you are right. Well the cat I used to have was born out in the wild, well inside a pig pen lmao but she was used to the outdoors since she was born and was actually scared of people when we got her so me and my mom thought that it would be best to let it out from time to time and of course that's how she went missing too. Personally I would actually prefer having my cat inside course then I wouldn't have to worry about it when it's outside. I still remember worrying about the cat when she was outside and kept looking at the front door if she was standing there and some times got really really worried when she was late lol, yep she used to be very punctual and if we let her outside during the summer she would actually come home around 5 pm. I guess I couldn't say no to those creatures when they stand by the door meowing because they want to go outside lol.

Anyway! You have actually seen cats getting hit by cars?? Well I have seen dead cats by the side of the streets and it wasn't something I wanted to see...

wow 15 years is a very long time. So why don't you get another cat? tongue.gif
I guess a lot of people who had cats or dogs treat them like a member of their family and would always remembered even after they past away.

Yeah, seen one get hit.... it survived, though. It just bounced off the tire of the car. The cat was walking normal, like nothing was around it, and the car was driving like nothing was in front of it. I also have heard stories from friends. lol

OMG! That sounds awful! Well I think that cat was probably injured because the cat I used to have was hit by a car when she was a kitten and she actually walked back on her own even when she was injured. Cats are very tough lil creatures and could actually take a lot of beating and could still walk/run away but you don't want to know what happens to them afterward. Some drivers are assholes who shouldn't even allowed to have a license it almost seems like that they don't really care if they hit something they would just keep driving and usually way too fast too.
