ok... to be fair wide angles are good for other stuff than landscape, but they are not good for wildlife/sports

That's why you don't go near the wildlife, you let the wildlife get near to you tongue.gif

You're right, they fucking suck for sports.

so now we can agree that Wide angles are good for quite a few things except sports and nature?

They're good for some nature shots, maybe not approaching certain wildlife, but they've still got uses.

zoom for wide angle and tele and prime for normal, mild wide angle and 80-135.

If I cuould have only 2 lens I would keep my 50 1.2 and get a 24 1.4

primes are the way to go if you want superb qaulity. dosnt make the picture but it does help l series if you can afford the investment

Primes. With the resolution figures you have nowadays, you can crop and such as needed if you Really need to.

Primes give you better image quality since the lens is fine tuned to perform at that focal length, rather than having compromises from having to not suck balls at any particular piece of the zoom range.

but the sharpness and clarity of the photo is way better with L series glass than some 200$ lens thats a fact

Since when did Prime = L Series? Last time I checked, more than half the primes Canon makes aren't L-series. In fact, what the L-series is good for is having prime-level quality in a zoom.
