Goldmember.

I think I get what you were talking about tongue.gif but it's kinda gross hahahaha.

Because the page was angled, some parts of the page were closer or further away from the focal point, which led to the diagonal focus.

I was kinda wondering about the same about some of the reverse macro pictures I took of a coin. When I used a very wide aperture it tend to focus diagonally too.

Gotta try this myself. So you dont use autofocus, but manually adjustable focus?
Quite reasonable wink.gif

Both would work, if you've set the aperture to a low f-stop.

Autofocus doesn't work when you reverse the lens. So basically you focus by move closer or further away from the object.
I think I took like 200+ reverse macro pictures and only a few of them turned out sharp lol.

You don't need to use an SLR to have manual aperture controls, some rangefinder and TLR cameras have it too.

I just can't help it :\

You don't need to remove the lens to get that sort of macro though, you could just use a macro lens instead.

haha you pervert! lol jk.

Well I am not sure if I want to spend a lot of money on a macro lens when I am not really into macro photography. Of course the amount of the money I will probably have to spend on macro equipment kinda scares me off a bit too lol. I mean I would need to buy other stuff to other than a lens probably a macro flash lol.

that penny is different color because of the year it was made. it was during world war 2 i think, or 1, but all the copper was used for bullets so they made pennies with silver

Umm, no. The pennies are zinc coated with a steel core, not any silver.

I actually thought it's made of copper biggrin.gif but I do remember seeing some really old and sad looking pennies with rust on them so you must be right about it having a steel core.
