these topics are so funny where people want the best camera in the world for 100$ laugh.gif

You might get eos 300d(rebel in usa) used with kit lens for 200$ if your lucky, but thats quite an old camera and i suggest you try to find a canon 350d(XT) and pay little more(u should get for around 250-300$).

haha wasn't there someone who also asked about the same question not long ago?
People have to know that photography is NOT a cheap hobby and you probably need to spend a thousand dollars and more to get some decent equipment and even when you have bought a decent camera body and a lens to go with it you will still need other lenses, tripods, external flash and many many other accessories lol.

Aha agreed!
I'm saving up for a d300, priced at a good $1800. That's not including lenses. That's going to be at least another $1000.
The problem is, I've also got to make sure I can pay tuition, so I'm really torn.
Goes to show, photography is not cheap!

holy crap. It sounds like the price on D300 is very high where you live. I guess it depends on what kind of pictures you want to take but if you are into landscape and nature photography then you may want to consider to buy EOS 5D mk1. The price on that camera has dropped a lot lately you can probably get one new for less than 1700 dollars. Well I hope everything works out for you and you will be able to get a nice camera and start posting some pictures in here wink.gif.

Well lol there are no stupid questions at least those asked out of curiosity tongue.gif.
A lot of the people who asked questions about cameras are new to photography and know absolutely nothing but I think they should do some research on their own before asking for advice here. After all that's what Google.com is for biggrin.gif.

Well that's because you haven't used a dslr yet smile.gif. I do admit that you can actually take some really amazing and sharp images with a point and shoot but I am sure that the very same pictures would have been even better if they were taken with a slr. You get what you pay for.
