Mhmm - I definitely don't have the patience for it. It's something I will have to learn with a pro sitting next to me, not words on the internet.

If you mean shooting in RAW. Well I have neither patience nor energy for doing that either I mean I'd rather spend time walk around the city and take pictures. I don't know why but everytime after I have taken pictures I just want to resize and crop them and then just upload them it's almost like something I have to do fast lol

Maybe if you spent a bit more time on them they'd turn out better wink.gif

lol - work on your composition if you find yourself cropping nearly all your photos.

Love the composition of the second, the power cables just pull you into the photo, a bit indifferent to the other two though.

Thanks happy.gif that one kind of seems crooked, but it doesn't at the same time lol.

That damned shadow again. But that's the price for a wide angle lens I guess hehe ^^ and of course, the price for standing in front of a light causing a shadow.

lol Yeah I know what you mean. I guess sometimes I am not patient enough to take time and put some effort into getting a better composition in some of my photos lol
haha just like Veilside said in his post

hmm It's that some people don't seem to like shadows tongue.gif
I personally think the shadow in that photo made the picture look more personal and maybe even a lil bit more artistic but then again it's my opinion tongue.gif

Just be a lot more selective with what you upload, don't just immediately upload loads, take some time looking at them all, picking out ones you think look good and then just upload those.
I've taken more than my fair share of badly composed photographs, I just know not to get immediately excited and upload them before I've though about it a while.

It depends really, but a good rule of thumb is that if the shadow doesn't add anything, try to avoid casting it in the frame.

Well I guess sometimes I need to be less excited when selecting pictures to upload. haha just look at my album there like 450 something pictures there and I am sure a lot of them are just snapshots and not really worth uploading biggrin.gif but then again I just want to share with you guys what I have seen and what I find amusing and funny

Hardly old and wise, just been a fan of photography for a while, and I've made those mistakes before, so I'm speaking from experience, infact, I still need to delete most of the stuff on my DA account.

lol I am not saying you are old age wise. Well I am glad that an experienced photographer like you are willing to share your knowledge with those of us who are still kinda new and I believe criticism and advice coming from people like you are more helpful than any tutorials I can find online smile.gif thanks!
