Futureshop has nothing. The only bags they have are for small point-and-shoots.
I checked. 2 stores.

ah ok. Thanks for the info.

I saw a thread in thephotoforum earlier about back packs and one of the members there mentioned Tamrac Adventure 7
and it seems to be a very nice one with lots of room for lenses and other accessories:

EDIT: A friend of mine told me a couple of days ago that if I order stuff online from stores located in Calgary I would only have to pay round 5% GST only instead of 10%+ combined GST and PST here in Regina and the rest of Saskatchewan rolleyes.gif so it means that everything you order from thecamerastore you will only have to pay GST.

Hard to pick a back pack online, I gotta be there to pick it... got a smaller one (went with lowepro), the other one's were big enough that I don't have enough gear to even fill it 50%.

Well, here in Calgary we only pay 5% GST happy.gif Which is AWESOME. (It's the only tax on purchases)

However, if you order from thecamerastore online, it cost quite a bit to get it shipped out unless you spending like $1000 or more, then it's free.

Congratulations! So you actually went to Don's and bought it? Well this one looks huge to me and it looks like there are still plenty of room for more lenses and other stuff. Which Lowpro did you buy? It's almost laughable that by the time I want or be able to buy stuff the sales would end just like that Sigma lens of yours. Oh well I guess shit happens.

@Blackrose
A friend of mine told me about the lower tax thing in Alberta back when I was going to buy a new camera body but certain things like camera bags would be better to buy in stores so you will be able to pick exactly the bag you want and need. I guess it's kinda like buying clothes lol.

Nah, I didn't go to Regina to buy it. Got it here in MJ - got gift certificates to the place, so I thought I'd buy it here. I think it was really over priced, though, and the selection was very little. But oh well. There's always better.

It's called: Slingshot 200 AW http://products.lowepro.com/product/SlingShot-200-AW,2035,4.htm

http://www.photographysavvy.com/gear-reviews/review-lowepro-slingshot-200-aw.php

It was over priced maybe about 20 bucks. But oh well lol.

Oh. Didn't know it's one of those slingshot models. Well I have been interested in them for awhile and will probably buy one too because it seems to be easier and faster to uh put it on and get it off lol.
So do you like it and does it feel comfortable on you? Well 20 bucks isn't that much consider that you would have to drive all the way to Regina so you would have to pay for gas too lol besides if anything goes wrong you can just go to your local store and I am sure it's still cheaper than if you got it at Staple or Futureshop lol.

hmm it seems that Don's still have those Lowpro bags on sale so I'll probably go there tomorrow and check out. I wonder how much bigger the Slingshot 300AW is lol.

Seems much bigger, http://products.lowepro.com/product/SlingShot-300-AW,2036,4.htm

You can fit a medium sized zoom lens in mine + other lenses as well, any bigger and it probably won't do. I don't plan on buying anything in the near future, so this one will do for me.

It's comfortable, yep. I wanted something I could strap on my back, and go bike riding with.

It seems to be a perfect bag for your needs. Well I don't really think that I will buy one of those huge ass zoom lenses like the 70-200 L series or bigger at least not in the near future course I am more interested in landscape and maybe some close up/portrait photography so nn to buy a huge ass bag lol. Well I am going to bring my camera with me when I go there tomorrow so I will have an idea exactly how much stuff will be able to fit inside it. I don't know yet if I am going to buy a bike when it gets warmer here but I may will if there are a lot of bicycle lanes here in Regina lol and of course I do want to travel a lot and bring my camera with me where ever I go so a slingshot is probably the most convenient and comfortable solution. smile.gif

lmao I went to Don's earlier and bought it! but mine is black and gray because they don't have blue anymore and it was still on sale ohmy.gif. I looked at the 300 AW too but it's just too big for me and looks fat and ugly lol. I also got some protective covers for the LCD and a lens cleaning pen lol
