Then why the hell would you say "3 vertical lines?" Please, just explain this small tidbit. Oh wait, you are a fucking clueless idiot, that's right.

BTW, you parents spend too much money on you.

Funny you should say that. I work about 50 hours a month as a nutritionist assistant making enough money to buy, lets say my $2000 camera??
Education is not very expensive which my parents pay for, and I'm 100% sure your parents pay for your education too.

It looks to me like all 3 of my deer fit perfectly within the middle section, with the right and left deer nicely on the right and left corners.

btw: You can have a 3 or 6 lined figure for the rule of thirds pal.
They divide into each other, one is more precise over the other depending the width of length of a subject.

Oh, well I'm sorry then. You just happened to come off to me as a spoiled little bitch. =]

Anyway, about your rule of thirds thingy. You know that your focal is supposed to be on one of the red crosses, right?

Well, if you don't. It is. Here's where you line up =]

Yes, and you can use a 6 lined one.
Which would move each line slightly apart, and 1 more line straight down the middle both vertically and horizontally.

Hmm, I don't quite get what you're saying, could you do an overlay for me in PS?

Never heard of this, "rule of sevenths."

It's not really anything.
It's pretty much the same, just one down the middle.

Sometimes you want an object to be directly in the middle of the photo for it to look good.

follows it, with one directly down the middle and it pulls off nicely.

But, I thought that the whole point of the rule of thirds was to prevent this?

I see, but I agree with the author when he says "particularly portraits where the subject is looking directly down the barrel or where you are presented with a scene with real symmetry like the one to the left." I think that this photo should have followed the rule of thirds because, as I stated before, my eye doesn't know what to focus on, maybe with different colors it could be pulled off. But in this I see no focal point. I try to decide on something, but it just don't work.

Edit: Sorry about earlier, you just hit a nerve. Hope we can be... Neutral. =] Now that I look at more of your pics you are pretty good. I still think you should follow the rule of thirds more =P.
