It's just my opinion.

And it's not older people. I've gone to meetups with older people than me but they are people I personally know.
I ain't going somewhere to meet a guy who I've only talked to over an internet forum!

oh btw right now I am living in Regina Canada with a population of around 200 000 and from what I have seen and heard a lot more crime are committed here every day than the city where I used to live which has 5 times more people

I'm living in a city with the highest crime rate in Canada with a population of around 1.2 million (1,200,000)

oh btw I carried around an even more expensive camera than yours when I walked around ALONE in downtown Stockholm on a weekend night and I didnt get robbed and I gotta tell you that I dont look like a HUGE muscular caveman either. I believe there are less crime in Stockholm compared to some of those Canadian cities because we have ALOT more police patrolling the streets
