I am quite disappointed with some of the posters' attitude lately.
I am always saying proudly that the photography forum is spam free, mature and respectful.
Lately, I see more and more bitching about mods for any stupid reason.
You are always happy to get help when you ask for it.
Well, those same people who help you, you are now bashing them with insulting comments.
I'm sorry guys, but I will not support this.
I know your first reaction will be: fine, we don't care and we don't need you anyways.
Well fine with me also.
If you want to be treated as an adult and with respect, start by respecting others and treating them accordingly.

I totally agree. So much drama going on that really isn't needed!

I don't agree on the part where we don't need you though! It's so cool to have you around :)

The photography forum is, for the most part, mature and respectful.
But then you get a spammer in here, I contact a Member ++, who does nothing about it, I contact a Junior Moderator, who does nothing and then I finally contact a proper Moderator, and, again, they don't do anything about it. That's not good moderation. Fact of the matter is, unless it's you that's asking for help, the mods generally won't do anything. The three I contacted recently certainly couldn't be bothered to even give the spammer 10% warn, this was after posting shit in 20+ threads here.

Yeah that's weird how nothing was done about it ... I think it happens so often though, and the mods are busy on other stuff. Who knows really, I am sure there is a reason why they didn't do anything.

I have a question: I have an xsi and when I shoot in a low light area, even with max iso, the picture is really dark or sometimes not even distinguishable. Wtf is that? Normal?

I get that too.... a lot... lower your F number to the lowest your lens can go to let more light in. I suppose if that doesn't work then you need a flash :S or a lens with a really low f number.

wow I´ve recognized an awesome spot for a night scene shot this evening. went home from our local stadium and walked over our palace garden. there´s a small lake and like 400-500 metres behind you can see our castle with all his lights which are reflected on that little lake. I´m trying to take my cam and shoot that as soon as I have time. cant wait :O

my biggest problem atm is that I do not have a tripod. and I dont dare attempting that shot without a tripod.

Have you got a wall or fence to lean against?

not really. all thats around the spot where I´ll be shooting from are some trees. but I guess I wont reach them without killing my whole composition.

If it's not too far from home you can always bring something along like a chair or a pile of bricks/books or whatever.
