I am the total opposite
I don't care if it makes money, I just gotta enjoy taking the photo. What the best part is is sharing it with others to see what they say about your art - not because it sells. These days I see people critique other people's work as if they might/could be selling material. All I want is to make it in a way that I enjoy it, I can call it my own art whether 50% or 100% of the population likes it or not.
That's the part that ruined it for me about going to make money from photography; because then I would feel I would have to do it rather than me wanting to do it at my own free will. I love that about this hobby.
