When I saw the top of the photo it didn't look all too impressive but as I scrolled down to look at the whole photo I realized it is beautiful.
The color is very dull and lighting a little too dark but imo, it works for me in this photo. It's somewhat a mysterious type photo, you know?
7/10

This idea is pretty cool (and dangerous :P ). Why so many 'vintage' filters though ?

God I have to start taking some more pictures again! .. :(

pretty well captured emotion. cool. I love how you can see the heat of the flames. that gives a great effect to it. good sharpness, cool bokeh. I would have liked to see a bigger frame. overall Ima give it a 7/10

I tried to find a purpose for the titled image, but I couldn't.
It destroys the harmony I'm searching in such pictures!
Beautiful colors though :) 6/10

I looked at this picture, both cropping and post-edit is quite aggressive, I need a second opinion, does it work?

Not sure what opened my eyes more efficiently this morning... the shower or the yellow in your picture
I like the contrast with the blue sky, and also the way the 2 flowers stand out, like 2 people and a crowd :)
There is a little something that is not quite right though, but I can't put my finger on it...
It's like my eyes don't go straight away to the 2 flowers, but keep staying at the bottom of the picture.. I don't know how to say it better..
7.5

Here's mine :
I don't know why it's so grainy... (100 iso)

Mrs. Marie,
Low light will always produce noisier images than well lit, however low your iso is. I feel as if this was underexposed and you tried to fix exposure during post editing. Was it a sunset easternish shot or a morning westernish shot?
Did you crop this at all? Did you post edit the image? Remember that its always a good idea to shoot landscape horizons in thirds.

About noise and iso : awe :(
I had cheated a little in using the 'landscape' settings, it didn't look underexposed though before editing..
It was a E-S-E shot during sunset.
No cropping...
Editing done: a little sharpening, saturation, something called 'hue' to get richer blue, and color balance added yellow... I found it was the best to enhance the rainbow and make it more 'visible'.
About the horizon, I agree it looks awkward.... I didn't want to see the ugly road in the picture.... I should have just crossed the road though  Then I remembered it was raining still and I stayed under a big tree to avoid getting the camera wet.... (silly me :p )

Thank you for your comment, I always learn a lot from them

I love your picture!!!!
And the gold on the water makes it more magical!!!
Only thing that disappoints me is that I would have liked to see the full reflection of the duck.....
8.5/10

Oh and I was gonna 'add reply' without posting mine :p

I am somehow not happy about the focus point....
But I have a very hard time with my new camera to be precise on my focus point :(
I mean, I chose the point I want, but.... I don't know how to explain better....

I think I know what you mean, you do have two focals in this photo though. The little bloom off to the side and the flower on the right.

My eyes keep switching back and forth. Ill assume you were going with the right flower as your focal, its too far off to the side and the weeds surrounding it are sort of distracting. I like the flower bokeh however. Rule of thirds would have helped a lot for this one :x Plus I know it may sound wierd/bad, but sometimes if theres stuff around a flower that I want to take a photo of Ill just pick it and throw it somewhere xD I dont really know what to rate it, but I hope the cnc helped.

Thanks Marie, I didn't notice the reflection till i uploaded the images to my computer. Guess i should pay more attention to the viewfinder for the little details.

And in regards to the focal point. You probably did select the flower as the focal point, but the bulb on the left also lies on the same focal plane your aperture is set at. In a scenario like this, you'll have to move around physically to another spot where the bulb wouldn't lay within the DoF. Also the shot is severely underexposed.
