Yeah, sometimes the weather doesn't co-operate. :( But just keep tryin!

Tell me about it.
Last night I was trying to capture lightning.
Didn't work out, I always jusy missed it.
The thunder sounded like a bomb going off, probably alot of new wild fires today.
It's already so smokey up here as it is.

Bah this is so stupid, i just spent like 25 minutes on balcony trying to take a pic of lightnings. It was lighning like once in 2 minutes before i went there, and it made one lighning while i was there and that was between the shots.. After i gave up and went inside there was 3 lignings in like 1 minute.. -_-

Someone up there was watching you and having such a laugh at you

The trick is to use a longer shutter speed so you can have a better chance of catching it. So there's fires up there where you live? That's not good.

Posted.... didn't check, hope it wasn't for guild only ;)

edit:

Was chatting on msn with a friend of mine (who is also another mediator on jsp) and we were discussing about the maturity of this forum...
You guys/girls are so mature, yet most of you are so young! (I could be your mom! ), and so professional and dedicated about photography!
It's like a nice little family!

This is really my favorite forum on jsp :)

Haha of course you are allowed to post here ;) I put it so all friends and families of photography can post :)

Some young people can be mature, yep! While a lot of them on the other forums are not so mature :RUN:

Marie! Remember those raccoons you had near your house? Whatever happened to them?

Someone came by my work today and they had PET raccoons! Even showed us pictures! They said they had to keep locks on all the cupboards and keep the tv's locked up when not home  And she also said they take the hinges out of doors! I think this is so funny but sooo bad! I guess they are pretty smart!

Just thought I'd share, I remember you posting that topic about the baby raccoons that were in your house. So cute :)

Racoons are gone, mom took her babys away, maybe to the barn or something, cause I saw footprints in that direction...
But I never saw them again...
That was not too long after was able to take pictures of them..
