best friend of my little sister just dropped my nifty fifty and broke it. the front element fell off. I tried to repair it. it works again, but the focus sounds like shit and is really loud. any idea how to fix that?

if that were to happen to me, i'd throw the front element to the friend of your little sister's face and buy a new one.

I thought about it for a moment, but then again I dont wanna buy a new 50mm 1.8. maybe I´ll buy a sigma 50mm 1.4 instead.

then i'd throw the whole lens on the friend's face.
