I'm working nights nowadays..
5 day week ahead of me which means I'll begin sunday 21:48, this is the reason why I'm not drunk atm..
My plan is to stay up, and if I'm staying up why not do something constructive? Bringing my camera bag, taking the car and hopefully I'll find myself an awesome setup for the sunrise!
2 hours 40 minutes until the sun rises.. Trying to come up with an idea atm

My first thought was the lens, but I dunno. The blur looks REALLY over-exaggerated..almost like a gaussian blur.

They could have used a TS lens or perhaps a f/1.2 or f/1 could achieve this amount of blur.

So it is achieved from lens yes ? 1.2 or 2 set up to get sharp mid and blur out corners ? Or how you need to do it...
thx for advice also can you get that from 1.7 or 1.8 ?

It's probably a bracketed shot @ 1.2-1.8.
