Bah this is so stupid, i just spent like 25 minutes on balcony trying to take a pic of lightnings. It was lighning like once in 2 minutes before i went there, and it made one lighning while i was there and that was between the shots.. After i gave up and went inside there was 3 lignings in like 1 minute..

Lightning is a pain in the ass. But some just got enogh luck to get a perfect shot.

Sometimes when I sleep, I will wake up because of the thunder, then I grab my camera and sit in front of the window with to catch one or to lightnings. But I never manage to do so...

Yeah, catching lightning takes a lot of patience. You gotta wait and kinda look at it ... ask yourself, is it slowing down? Moving farther away? Etc. At least that's what I do.
