What happens to your picture if you give it to them?
Do you lose the rights?
I don't quite understand their rules and all...

I got my laptop.
Intel i5 460m
4gb DDR3 @1333 mhz
1gb gpu, some random nvidia, doesn't matter that much to me.

I also bought a tft monitor
nec multisync ea232WMi.
That screen is awesome, that's my impression this far! :D
It's so much easier to edit with a real monitor.
Earlier I was editing directly on my 15,4" laptop. Now I've realized how crazy that was! :P

I edit everything on a calibrated laptop, although I do have to make adjustments for the glossy-ness of it.

Has it ever happened to you or someone you know?

No, but that's the whole point about stock photography, it's just an easier way for people to license a photo for it's commercial use, ie for newspapers, which Getty do a lot of.

Whatever floats your boat :)

Didn't help mine.

What size/resolution?

My old one was 15,4" 1440x900
My new one is 13,3" 1368x768, because I prioritize portability over a decent monitor :)
