As I told you, depends on what you need. I personally prefer fix focal lenses, but it is personal.

Canon macro lenses has no slow AF, maybe a bit slower but I colud take some skiing pictures with no problems with my 100 macro.

I don't shit in this area, I came here to see how Xan has been progressing, and when I tried to post before my -10% I noticed I couldn't; now that I can I'll be lurking here more than when I couldn't.

butterflies r overphotographed imo. the dragonfly is very cool
