This is the truth. I'm actually not sure what I want to do for next week. I was thinking 2 light but really..... Ill probably do something with photography through the ages. Try and get a 20s shot, a 60s, etc etc. Try and capture the photography of those times.

God don't I know it. While at the moment my photography hasn't gotten noticeably better (at least to me). I'm certainly learning to use my gear better. It feels like its almost by accident lol.

While the thought of selective coloring did cross my mind for the sheer fun of the thing. For now I'm trying to stick to themes that will test me as a photographer. The first week, Depressing was trying to set a mood in a picture through lighting and setting. I'm not sure I actually hit that in all of them. The second motion and the third one light are pretty obvious. Perhaps as I get along in this I would take a break and give that a shot. BUT this is also whatever you want it to be. You can do whatever theme you want. It doesn't make a difference. As long as your learning and as long as your having fun it shouldn't make a difference to anyone. Hell it might not be a bad idea for you to do that so you can get used to the whole self portrait thing without putting too much stress on too much else.

Also welcome to the shoot. Its nice to have you along.

ahh i see. i kinda like the idea of us all following the same scheme, it shows us other ways to go about the same effect, you know?

What about a classic theme? try to achieve a classic, or film look.

Sharing the theme sounds good to me.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking with the 1800s 1920 etc etc thing. Really go for it and set a mood. Film and all. I think its going to come down to lines angles etc etc while trying to achieve the looks. I certainly don't have the wardrobe to pull it off beyond that but I do have a costume rental shop just down the street from me. I wonder if I can work out some kind of deal with them.

Bountiehunter DAY 21

Oh yes... That's the sun.

lol thanks. I have always been so fascinated by shots like this. My little flash could barely handle this. I had it at full power and no more than 3 feet from my face.
