I disagree with your last comment. The composition is what makes this photo, along with the DOF shallowness to create contrast names w/ rest of photo. Not only that, but it looks like fuckin Lord of the Rings. My precious........
You. have. christmas lights. Why would you not put this in color?
Your b&w conversions are so boring. The couple doesn't stick out enough, like a year 95' wedding photo.
The photo is so conservatively taken :\ I see soo much Armando in this.
Did you by any chance use the glowy effect on the dress? It's 0/10 if you did, due to tackyness.
Good stuff:
lovely capture/moment
10/10 on the exposure settings
composition is excellent (but boring as fuck)
7/10 today, 10/10 in 1995.
This is the last feedback I give you with wedding photos.
For any one who wishes to shoot a wedding: it's ezpz to get good photos in the morning as the bride is getting ready, ezpz to shoot the venue, ezpz to shoot the 'happy moments' after a ceremony, ezpz to shoot the first kiss, and ezpz to shoot portraits/formals. But fuuuuck, church entry photos are hard. Just think how fast you must fix your settings to get proper exposure outside and 3 seconds later get the isle walk @ usually iso 6400, a mix of green hallus and tugsten light + sunlight coming from outside and some colored from tainted windows. all manual.
Bring me a photographer that can get a GOOD church entry photo, which includes all the nerviousness and crying, and you will have brought me a very very very talented or extremely lucky photographer (not walking down the isle, which is a different criteria, and the bride usually fakes a smile to hide her nerviousness/crying or is amazed at looking at her groom). I belong to the second group. Most photographers will simply skip the entry.

I'm done trolling/being an ass but being extremely helpful for tonight. Edited 200 photos :\
they aren't christmas lights really. they're all the same color. you see armando in this because armando has been my only influence when it comes to photographing a wedding. he's very conservative and traditional, he's 60 years old!! I try to do my own thing but he never uses those photos and so because I don't have permission to show them no one sees them... as a matter of fact I've noticed he tends to use all of my worst photos when it comes to down to it and that just ticks me off. but enough rant. thanks for the help, you were great! I've learned a lot about what to look for I just need to know how to effectively capture it (I've been reading a lot of articles about it and plan to start practicing soon). Umm.... I suppose I'll have to relearn my black and white :/ they look nice on my dad's computer which is what I use to edit. I've improved drastically though! alas there is still so much to learn!
at the photo I agree with Xandriia on this one. you are very very good at capturing color but can also manage so much emotion in black and white.. I'll be taking pages out of your book! if only I could be accepted as an intern but that's a very long shot. The guy in the back is distracting but the intense emotion kind of makes up for it, 9/10

Thanks m8 ^^ Yeah I know, Ive really got to learn to move around more, I was noticing that as I was going through all the photos (but I did end up having 198 keepers out of the 450-ish that I took :D.)
Pssh, bullshit, its only easy to do all that if you have a happy looking couple for those happy moments...lmao. Its like wedding fever in here o_o
This shot is awesome though, you always manage to get those great emotive shots. The dad looks like he doesnt want to let go, the bride looks like shes about to pass out, and the mom is like "Its ok, get in there!" It might be a total pain, but you could try cloning out that guy in the background. Maybe put some of that great bokeh thats on the right over on the left. But thats me, Im a freak about stuff in the background xD
I guess Ill post a wedding shot, thank god for when the brides dad showed up, now theres a guy that could emote. Waiting for the elevator right before the ceremony.

it may just be me, xan but this photo looks a tad green.. I think if you had stepped a little more to the left you could've caught a little more of her face and it also wouldn't look like it's cutting into his head, I like the light from behind though

her expression is so serious... and since you don't like ratings I shall not rate this one

but good job, I would just suggest mess with the white balance a bit
