uhhh Armando doesn't have my facebook information.. he can barely remember my last name lol... He's been as busy as you have <3

at Xandriia

the expression you captured was awesome! even with the tight crop I think it was worth it, The only thing I can say is I would've liked an agle just a bit more facing the baby lol, I almost feel like the baby is being squished and as for black and white conversion I think you did a nice job with contrast and I like the creaminess

I apologize in advance if my opinion wasn't asked for ^_^

Yeah I agree, sometimes when I see crops like that I feel all claustrophobic xD I cant even remember why I cropped it so tight now, but I guess I had a reason. Thanks :D.

And no, its nice to get an opinion, lol. I just hope the mom is happy with the shots I got.

I find this photo extremely boring. Photos with excessive bokeh are as prominent online as photos of cats. I see no creative use of the blur, which, in a subject such as this, actually destroys the look of the metal plate and the words more than it promotes them. Perhaps your focus was the blown out bug on the upper right corner, but even then, it's blown out and looks strange. The blown out top part of the wood = a failure from your part. I understand that you exposed for the metal, but leaving a mid exposure and recovering both in post-processing would've resulted in a superior exposure.

Because you shot with such a small apreture, this photo is also soft as fuck. Try doing some selective sharpening and increasing the blacks to make it 'pop' more.

2/10 -- </3 you gave cc on xandriia's photo, which I wanted to do :(

This would've been my contest submission. No, I will not clone out the lens flare.

could be wrong but wasn't this taken saturday? a little late for submission perhaps? I could be wrong oh well
I personally give this shot a 9/10
Love the disco lighting on the two as well as his expression! I know there probably wasn't much that could be done about the girl on the left but she's a bit distracting to me. She's probably a family member (looks like the flower girl) so she adds to the shot for them but she just stands out too much for my taste. Great Job I really like it ^_^

mmm time for something old lol

Nice capture, but composition is horrible. Over-exposed whites. It...needs...more...room...fuckin..scoot...over. 4/10.
Since we're going with sad photos:

Mando had me shooting with the 70-200 in Julio's Cafe Corona :/ but thank you ^_^ I like honest critique

as for photo above I love the man reflected in the tv and the incredible emotion in this photo but I think it might've been a little better had you also scooted over a bit to get a bit more of the tv and speaking of overexposure lol I know it's window light but alas it's too powerful I think and detracts from him because my eyes keep jumping to it. overall great shot 7.5/10

ahhh black and white ^_^

lol you just rated an award-winning photo 7.5/10. I knew you were just rating because you're mad at the 4/10.
Your photo is boring, since the cake blends with the wall too much. You forgot to not cut out part of the cake on the right. YOU HAD LIT CANDLES AND DIDN"T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR GLOW. 1/10.

no not at all.. I always give my honest opinion about photos because I expect the same in return and how hypocritical of me if I didn't speak honestly

well they didn't glow, it was a well lit room you know

almost pointless to have them in the first place. now I would say you're rating out of anger lol if you're going to go down to a 1. I certainly don't think this photo is a 1 I agree with the cut out cake part but that certainly wouldn't lower to a 1, respectfully sir
