First shot is cool(predator) but please remove the filmy border.
As for the other predateur shots, they got kinda floating head syndrome.
What is floating head syndrome?
As far as auto... I usually work in speed priority and the camera picks up the aperture, unless I am positive that if I work with shutter priority, I'll have a fast enough speed to avoid movement blur.
I have never worked in full auto mode, nor do I want to go through the hassle of it, especially while taking pictures of kids, outside.
If you think they are all too bright, please show me an example of an outside portrait that would be decent so I know what to look for...
