self portraits for the most part are pretty cheesy IMO.  Unless it's done to make it not look like one.

That picture you took could use some editing in lightroom.  Her face looks flat compared to her hair to me.

I'm bored most nights, if you wanna send me the raw so i can show you what i'd do to it, let me know.  People have their own style though, so if you're completely happy then that's great!

This picture was pretty flat when i took it.

I didn't have lightroom, then I got it. It's a great investment. I got it for the same price I got CS5.

If you aren't fully aware of how useful shooting in RAW is, go on YouTube or Google and find some examples of before-and-after shots (RAW unprocessed vs. RAW after it goes through Lightroom).

Yeah, RAW is really useful but it's a hassle to have to convert all of em to .png to look at.

I'll start shooting moreso in RAW throughout the day though, cuz yea I agree 100% RAW improves photos by 100x

You need a thumbnail plugin for windows 7

I can't remember it for the life of me!

dunno if its std now, but when I had win7 I installed a codec pack and could view them as normal (well I think this is what I did)
