Currently i own 2 58/2 and 1 135 both was used on sony adapter without any problems but since I upgraded my body i little bit scared to put these even if most guys on this forum says that there is 0 chances to damage mirror [pussy]
One of the lenses wich gives me headache is 28mm helios f2,8 its a fucking fab lens! cheep and awesome sharp!

one more thing some people saying that some of these old russian lens are radioactive...

I am not really into old lenses, I guess there are a ton of old lenses, but what is the most popular one? I heard about the zeiss 180 f2.8 it's amazing

i buy them off *** and i check the compatibility off a list i got of ones that won't damage your mirror on a full frame body.

i own a mamiya 55 1.8 (my fav) a super takumar 55 2.0 and a super tak 135 3.5

and is this a full manual lens so dslr won't show the aperture? so it will show 00 like if you are using a reverse ring for macro?

i bought the chipped adapter so mine shows 1.4. APS-C sensors can use even more lenses than a full frame. Crop sensors can use almost any old m42 lens.

But yes, it's fully manual, which isn't any different for me. I've shot fully manual for 10 years lol.

thats good, imma buy a few lenses to try I heard it's really cheap and better than some of the lenses..

my adapter was 5 bucks. won both of my bids on that one site everyone bids on things.

2 lenses cost me 40 bucks.
