By resize do you mean how to crop better?

As for wb, not sure how to have it readily available for shots. I have it at auto since idk how much I can modify on the go.

Seriously looks like clip art inserted on a stock of the sky. Pretty cool.

I'm vacation right now. I head back home on Monday. Haven't had much to shoot unfortunately :-(. Hopefully going out tomorrow to do some shooting. Got some nice groundhog shots, and some other shots, but wish I had better landscape options.

Will post any good shots when I get back for critique and help on improving.

Really happy with the 16-85 lens on this vacation. The 70-300 has come in handy as well - - the 16-85 is sharp!! The 70-300 is a razor... Think I got a perfect copy of it (sharper than reviewed copies I've seen). The 35mm 1.8g has been nice, and makes me want to go out and get the 50 and 85 (those focal lengths I've noticed each provide perspective that dramatically changes the feel at each focal length and the 50 isn't too close to the 35 I'm thinking). Won't be buying anything though, but thought I'd annoy people with my thoughts on what I want nexte and how I'm growing with my gear.

I absolutely need a good tripod though... My only decent tripod which I found doesn't adjust like I need it to, and the other one I found in the basement is flimsier than holding the camera hahahs
