that's a good thing! I'm going to make sure it is 13k though before buying.
Edit: is there anything else I need to know before buying? Is there anything I should check on the camera? I'll test all buttons of course, but is there anything else?
make sure the autofocus works
make sure it comes with a memory disk
test all the buttons
find out shooting history (cold hot, wet areas)
ask if they ever took photos of the sun (i know stupid question but some people like to take photos of the sun over a lake or ocean. i know i have without knowing the consequences first). its bad for the sensors.
see if its been dropped. especially the lens. sometimes if you bump it hard enough you can shift the internals the wrong way.
being a new user to a camera a used body and lens might be a great way to save money but sometimes since not knowing every function of the camera could make it hard to buy a functioning one.
im sure others will chime in on thinks to ask/check those are just what i thought of.
