ive had a wired remote ordered in my shop for almost 3 months now just so i could do this with my tripod setup. apparently canon is sold out of wired remotes for the t2i everywhere or something. how long were your exposures? in my test shots i did a few months back if i did anything more than like 40 seconds i would get star lines forming.

interesting. i did mine on bulb and just counted how long the exposure was on a watch. once i get my remote ill actually be able to set a exposure time on bulb mode. will make my life easier.

yeah i need a remote. I think my main problem was I had my gf with me and she was cold so she was trying to cuddle/stay warm so she used me to do that as i was taking pictures haha

You could always do a wireless remote, too, that's what I use with bulb. Although it might have trouble in the dark.

i have a wired remote on order at my local photo shop. its been on order for like 4 months and apparently they are sold out everywhere. think its called RS-60E3 but id have to check my order slip.

allows you to set your shutter speed and such from the remote and also allows you to time your bulb shots from within the remote.
