because the final results are just a good
by his "super expensive" comment i am certain he was talking of a few thousand dollar camera, not a pro grade camera at over $20k
this whole thread started about a cheap camcorder certainly nothing in the $$$ region you talking - so give some advice he can use, not a stupid and pointless "not really" comment
its not just as good, its whats acceptable to the mainstream people and what is more convenient and easier to handle for people. its the little things that people dont really see or notice that makes video cameras superior to dslr
and 5d is not a entry level camera, it is a slightly advance level camera, if it was an entry level camera everyone would have them instead of the actual entry level cameras.
im sure if you asked someone that was more educated in video cameras, they would give you a better argument that a video camera is better than a dlsr for video.

A video capable dslr is as good as a super expensive video camera.
Only downside is that the T3 does not have auto focus during video.
and also i wasnt even talking about a cheap camcorder but responding to this post
if you would get your head out of your ass maybe you would know whats going on
