Haha! The bugs are fun, too! I don't have much experience with photographing them, but I sure had fun as a kid playing with them - haha.

In the 'What do you mean you posted my pictures on JSP?!' picture, I think my cats eyes look amazing. If you zoom in, they're really high quality. My cats name is boo boo, btw.

I actually just bought this camera as a side kick, and it works great! Also, the one that theBlackrose mentioned in some other thread is okay too, I believe it's cheaper. the Canon ELPH series. Not sure what else to say, though, I did my research and got a pretty good camera.

i would hands down go for a Canon G12, you get them for $400-500
or if u want to save a bit u can get a used G11

these are amazing compact cameras, not as small as other compacts but have all the features of an dslr
