Thought about that, but I think I prefer a prime 24 mm for that price. Maybe I can also get a faster /f.

Not sure it's worth its price. And it's for cropped only.

Not interested in 35 mm, but zeiss could be a good choice. I think there's a 24 mm too but with manual focus only, right? Mmmh, surely good, but quite expensive for my camera.

Oh hi!

It really depends on what you shoot. If you want to use it for landscape or architecture there is nothing out there that can beat the TS-e 24mm f3.5L II. If you want to use it for portraits or for shooting in low light then the 24mm f1.4L II would be the lens you want to get.
Sigma also has a 24mm f1.8 lens but from what I have heard and seen it's inferior compared to the Canon L in almost every aspect with very soft corners, slow and unreliable AF etc. If you want something cheap then you should take a look at either EF 24 f2.8 or EF 20mm f2.8 but then you might as well get the 24-70L which is just as good.

Theres a 21mm, which is highly regarded as one of the finest zeiss lens'
f2.8 though and mf with focus assist, and it is chipped and on a cropped it would be a perfect focal range for you!
super sharp even to the corners no distortion. But ofc expensive
