whats the dpi on the hp 4050 if used for a few 35mm negs?

way more than enough.

300 dpi with PCL5e/HP's PostScript Level 2 emulation (PS)

600 dpi with PCL5e/PS

HP FastRes 1200 (PCL6, PS)

HP ProRes 1200 at engine speed (17 ppm) (PCL6, PS)

what ever that means??

I have Imacon Flextight, had to get Mac G4 for it to work, but best scanner I tried. I have old one, scsi connected (you can get for affordable price I guess) and works like charm.

do you have any 35mm negs thatyou can scan on it for me? id like to know the resolution of one neg instead of res vs all negs in batch.
mp of pic etc.

does the software have to be used?
can other software be used?
