I would rather invest in a Lee FK system with either Lee filters or Hitech resin filters. Flexibility is key, all you need is adapter rings.

That's without a doubt out of my budget right now. This is a hobby currently, I'm not making money with photographs.

NO
grads are for a different purpose - like shooting the sunset where the sun/sky is over exposed and the landscape is under exposed
you then use a grad to darken the sky but keep the other 1/2 of the image (landscape) correctly exposed
besides this can sort of be done in PS

that is only good if you have loads of time to set the shots up and setting the filters etc
i far prefer the ease of circ filters when its just for fun

They don't come cheap. I've invested a little over $1k on just filters.

As for the ND, go for a variable ND at 77mm and buy step-up or step-down rings for your lens.

Do you plan on getting more than one lens?

Does the Lee Filter Foundation kit have everything I need to use 4x4 and 4x6 filters? Assuming I have the proper ring for my particular lens.

If you're actually interested in photography, it wouldn't be long until you have a lens that requires 77mm filters. *Most high end/ pro lenses are 77mm. Saves money in the long run not having to buy another filter when you get another lens.

Yeah, comes with the holder and the mount ring. All you need is a ring adaptor for the lens.
