but if so it would be considered fish as it is below 10mm imo

isnt it called fish eye, if it is made with certain lens shapes?
i dont think there is a certain focal length on which you can call a lens fisheye or wide angle.
a 10 mm lens has a large angle, but a 10 mm fish eye has an even larger angle, and a lot of distortion.

yeah i think this is true
but i dont think you can get +-180 deg angle of view without having an extreme convex lens
