I have no idea how to improve upon the post processing part. Every time I ask for help I get a childish response except from Lithfkn and moving my crop by a tiny tiny bit wouldn't change the value of the image at all in the case that you critiqued.

Give me some way to improve and I will try to do so.

you ask for c/c, then you say shit like this
I only said your pp was horrid on #1. Some sort of desat, yellowed effect that looks like 2007. Just because you can do an effect doesn't mean you should.
It is the little details that make you a better photographer. Everyone else will mention wb, focus, or distractions, but not the things that refine your techniques as a photographer. If you won't appreciate or realize that, then I don't know what else to tell you.

ways to improve.

start with a good subject.

spend 10 minutes on composition

wait for good light

put camera on trippod/timer


post on jsp no editing.

Those lines in the field on the bottom look really interesting. I wish you could of had a lower perspective so the lines in the field would lead right up to the smokestacks (if that makes any sense at all).

Unfortunately I can't move the mountains.
