Almost.. head with snoot at the back and the front light was almost a 180 degree parallel beauty dish using the feather light. It casts really nice deep shadows but they don't go black, still holds detail. You should invest in one, they're awesome!

Yeah, he had massive surgery a few years ago. He wanted to keep it in.

He's an up and coming song writer / music producer. Very talented and hard working but it's a really hard industry to break into. Does a lot of work for artists in Europe.

It's just something he came up with and wanted shot.

Ahh I see. Makes sense then.

It looks like a good promotional shot to me..I could see it in a magazine or inside an album.

Thanks lovey ^_^ Here's another couple from the shoot. I think I like the way I edited these better. Slightly more grungy and gritty.

Wow he looks totally different without glasses, and better I might add. Tell him he should always look straight forward like that, his profile looks totally nerdy and doesnt go with the edgy vibe hes trying to give off. Tape over the mouth is icky and cliche, every ad for domestic violence and rape uses it.

I like the first one you posted best, and the last one. You make him look good xD

haha no way, I wouldn't even get myself in that situation :D

He's a great subject, makes setting up the lighting so much easier. He trusts me and we assess the shots as we go, change it up a bit.

I love the headshot. We wanted to do a Homme Magazine type model shot
