um i studied photography for 2 years in art school ^^

i think im ok to give a simple C&c

1. get tilt shift lense and dont shoot in bright sun

2-end

ducks, many duck butts. needs less ducks and more beaks.

2 is ok, but stop down more fstops to increase ur DOF enough the whole birdy is focused. body looks soft.

Haha, i think the comment on the first one is a really confronting.
you actually say: if you want to do this kind of photography, spent a lot of money on better equipment.

its like saying to a soccer team they have to buy better players, cause else it wont work.
Perhaps there are some pointers you can give to make the current setup better without buying new.

hope i made myself clear.
Other than that, no comments, sorry for OT.

I am not really interested in tilt shift - thank you for the comment.

She would certainly appreciate comments from photographers, but since this does not apply to you, I would refrain and spam elsewhere if I were you.

Thank you!

I will remember these great tips for a better time when I have a better chance at getting them. I was paddle boating and enjoying my time on the waters.

AH HA.

here are some opf my pro tips for wildlife photographys

1. get on the ground level/eye level of subject

2. shoot from a tripod, patient, and make a clicking sound with ur tounge to captivate the little deers ears right when u shutter :p

3. to wildlife photo, go out with that intent. if ur paddleboating ur just taking snapshots mostly unless ur on a expedtion documenting and stuff.

4. be patieent, find a spot u know the animals to frequent and set up a blind of a type or hide in waiting for the best light and pictures.

i hope this is helpful i dont know what mother of two is always a hater on me i try to bring a fresh persecptive to this boring forum

and only other pointer i have for shooting buildings without a tilt shift is to shoot them from an angle instead of straight on youll get a image that is distorted, but ur lines will be better and also shoot buildings away from the sunset at dusk with interior lights on, balance the ambient light with the interior and exterior lighting. if some sections of the building are losing shadow detail u may need to get some strobes in the nooks and crannies to get a nice even shot.

if you want to shoot INTO a sunset, do it as the sun rests on the horizon and strobe the entire section of building that will show up on film.

I have some tips on how to get along better with members on the forum, if you so desire. I do appreciate your tips here, they are good, as I've never set out and taken wildlife seriously before. The clicking sound before snapping a photo is a cool idea, I might consider that if I ever capture those wild life! These photos here were mainly snaps, I did put effort into trying to focus on them and compose the shot, but settings wise I didn't do much with.

Don't make things personal, and you should be okay. I think if you changed your tone and how you type things here, you wouldn't have any problems :)

i have no problems. i think this forum is great.

other people seem to have problems with me becuz im a real og photographer and they are wannabes.

but with that said... i could care less of there opions and i will speak it how i see it whenever i choose unless they cry and et me banned *yes i know u all report me all the time* and i was banned here once before

becuz i illustraed how if u spend half an hour, u can find an entire front page worth of posts where people snapshot there dog cat hampster germbil horse or rat.

then i say to them all, congrats man that pic is awesome i just love it!

becuz what pisses me off... more then anything here...

is when someone posts a shitty picture (that they hope some1 will praise) and then get all butthurt when u break it tell and tell them it aint that good. and then when u explain why its bad and how to get better there reply is always..

oh i was just using SNAPSHOTS.

ok well dont post ur fucking snapshots for all to see! if ur gonna post a flic as a photgrapher give it half a fucking hour to make the shot happen IRL and do it right.

then u might get thepostive comments u so despreatly desire.

So are you saying I took these snaps, and wanted them appraised? I sure hope not!

Some people post photos here not only because they are awesome thought out photos (real photography), but some people post snaps to share part of their world and experiences. It's not always about how great they took the photo. Sometimes people just like to share, and I see nothing wrong with that. Perhaps maybe this is why a lot of people have fucked off from posting here anymore because everyone expects high quality shots when they were only trying to share...
