Imo before you do stuff with models look at others peoples work to get a idea of what to do. Guessing that you were not the main photographer cause she was never looking at your camera good luck when you get one by yourself. Oh if your gunna shoot models with cars imo get a picture of the car to. No hate intended

i would do the model, twice infact
haha that was just for marie ;)

now on a serious note:
the outfits are terrible, really do make her look like a hooker
the poses are just as bad, only pose i like is the last 1 :P

pic 1: obv you are not in the shooting position, so cant tell much, but your angle certainly does nothing for her thighs, also find the roof distracting
pic 2: you need to be lower to the ground, everything is in shadow, definitely need a reflector to light her up, wouldve tried a different pose, have her stood up with her bum leaning on the side above the wheel arch, slight curve in her back, head turned towards you etc
pic 3: is just bad all over, as mentioned car is scratched etc (should never be used for a shoot), pose is unnatural and uncomfortable, also needs light reflected on her face

they look very raw. crop, composition and lighting don't look planned out. all could benefit from a little post-production.

i think horizontal shots would be better for car shoots as well.

So I ended up working with her today as the lead photographer, just practicing some.

Appreciate the responses besides talking about if you would do her or if you think she is hot.

Still need some reflectors and to work on a few things, but I feel a lot better about these than I did the first ones.

..Why is she holding a wrench in the middle of a forest? Think about what sort of image you want to portray before you shoot. Just a random note, if youre going to have someone holding something like that make sure their nails are nice, its one of the first things I saw (because of the wrench btw, its too much of a focal point imo, bad positioning)

These all look SOOC, and the composition/lighting is really bad. Try to use rule of thirds more often, you seem to either have her practically hanging out of the frame or directly in the middle of it.

yeah i see that way too often - models with bad nails (or bad fake nails)
dont shoot someone in patchy shodows / sunlight, like you did under the trees, you will never get decent lighting this way
and yeah the composition isnt good
#2 the wb is obv way off, she looks sic with those tones
#3 the eyes dont seem to be perfectly in focus

not being mean in anyway, just trying to help

Only thing I like in pic #1 is the light.
Other than that, she is holding a tool the same way she would hold a dildo.
Her nails are crap (already mentioned)
Her top is really not to her advantage... weird boob contour...

Second picture, check your white balance.
When shooting in a forest, everything is green.. her hair, her face, everything.
Why cut off her legs?
Her outfit makes her look fat.
Her attitude make this picture look like it'S gonna be a bad porn shooting.

Third picture...
Don't shoot from above... she looks like a midget like Alice in Wonderland...
Again her pose is slutty and her outfit is really not for her shape.
With her legs bent the way they are, you can photoshop a horse underneet her

Moral of the story, get another model or tell her to act like a normal person (not trying to be a porn star)

And no, if I was a man, I wouldn't do her :p
