I probably shouldn't of put the 7000 since it's vastly superior to the rebel series, but i wasn't thinking :P

But ya, the more I think about it the more I believe that I'll upgrade down the line and I like the higher end options of canon a lot more than the nikon.

Either way, I'm meeting with a friends father who works for canon later this month. He does field testing for them and has access to basically everything they've ever made. I'm going to try and get him to go under the price I just listed on the t2i probably.

Haha yea I'm a huge stickler when buying "toys". I've been looking all summer for the best deal on an entry level dslr and this is the best I've found as well as a d5000 + kit lens for 500

I've honestly been considering this, but I'm a sucker for the 18-200 lens. Probably a little expensive for true entry level though XD.
