you get a better iq for your $ tho ;)

a similar system to the mamiya 7 rangefinder in digital terms (sensor size) is the leica s2 and thats $20,000

100% true. A similar example is with analog signal. While analog signal has proven to be more realiable, the digital adaptation replaced it because of soooo many reasons. :)
Embrace the future - 'old school' film should be left for hobbies :)

That still doesnt make it obsolete -.- A telegraph is obsolete, newspapers are becoming obsolete, film is nowhere near obsolete.
