7 and 8 are my favorite, I love the moment you were able to catch!
But only half of the photos open for me, so I probably missed on a lot of good ones too.... damn dial-up :(
11 could have been nice if you had a wider angle, to see the ball and the tip of the stick...
But action shots are so hard to get right!!

12 would've been a great shot I think if his leg weren't cut out and the stick either.

8 is epic ^_^

exposure is good for the most part but I find something lacking, nice job on getting the sky blue and not overexposing it though! have you tried any of them in bw?

Thanks! I was worried about exposure probably the most, because the clouds were constantly going over top of the sun. I used Tv mode on my camera, I kind of like it so I am not constantly switching settings because of the sun. First time I've actually used it, actually.

I have not yet tried them in B&W - I might give that a shot if my brother wants some printed.

I agree with 12 - I did cut a lot out of that one, thought it was kind of neat, anyways. Haha. I used my zoom lens for these photos, would a wide angle be cool to try sometime with these? Or stick to zoom?

Thanks Marie!

I see how you mean on #11 - I really wished that I could have caught the ball and the end of the stick. either I was too close, or zoomed in too far ^_^

well for sports it's a good idea to use zoom assuming you're not too close to the field if it's a small field and of course when you want to get those epic jumping shots or something lol but sometimes I think a wider angle gives a little more perspective for a few shots maybe, I haven't done much sports shooting except for one time I shot my sister's soccer game

That is true. I think I would have lost out on a few shots if I used my wide angle. But I might try it sometime, or at least consider it when I do this again. I really want to try my wide angle on a skateboarder or something :D
