Used the north or south star as a centre point, they don't appear to rotate due to the star's alignment with the earth.

Scan isn't particularly good, but the lighting is really mega flat in the photo due to the time it was shot, probably also some dark room trickery going on.

I'm not a big fan of photographs like that, I just think they're a bit dull, without being particularly beautiful.

This is also one of my favourites.



Remember that they're meant to be viewed as 30+ inch wide prints.
