manual focus, camera on tripod, also i put smth in the spot where gonna drop water then focus that object and after removing it take pics using built in flash^^ usually im making pics alone so using remote control for that

I didn't mean the whole set up I just meant how you used the on camera flash, whenever I tried using the built in flash everything looked horrid.

I'm still confused how any of that is really manual.. I mean any more manual than any other part of photography. Actually it's less..
