im not shooting sport
5dii to expensive for sure !
d700 if its "only for sport" then pointless
d7000 worth buying now or wait till prices will drop ?
in that add the 5D comes with the 24-105 f4 lens (it is not a bad lens)
but you can get body only for about the same price as the D700
D700 shoots basically anything, just that the fps are high enough for sports etc
i would say its only between the D7000 and 5D, but that is just up to how much you want to spend, both are great

I think you missed the "BODY ONLY" part.
You don't need FF to shoot sports
you never actually "need" ff, but it obv helps
there are no pro sports photogs that use cropped sensors!!!

Yeah. But I'd still get a 700 over a 7000 for sports. My new setup for horse racing is actually going to be both of those bodies. I'll use the 7000 and a 70-200 for when they come out of the chutes, then a 700 with a 24-70 when they're crossing the finish line. Horse racing season is just about to start too, I'm so stoked! Time to make some moneh!
i was thinking of getting the same setup
