Pretty sure you can achieve this kind of look without having to use HDR.

and even if, I´d rather process them out of RAW files instead of taking 8 exposures.

Little HDR manipulation and effect as for me is awesome !
Simple, there is so many ppl around whom like different things, like Justin Biber :uglyhammer:

looks like a SUCCESSFUL hdr.. like you did the multiple exposures and put it together, but its just not a GREAT hdr..

ive done a few myself that turned out like this. I think you really need to do it at like sun rise or sunset.

I've only found hdr useful when you cant match the sky and the ground.
