Hello guys, I am in the market for a camera.

My main intention of shooting is quite a bit of range, I like shooting modern stuff, some landscape, but I also want to shoot sports. Particularly Golf and Paintball.

An example of the type of pictures I want to take

Video is an option I would like to have.

I dont want to break the bank and this is my first camera, but Id rather spend a bit extra and not have to feel like I want to upgrade in a year. 0-1200 seems to be my price range, staying away from the top end if I can.

Do you guys have any suggestions? (Yes I need a lense too in that price)

unfortunately those types of photos you're showing are high-speed sports photography. that requires the most expensive cameras / glass. . :(

At daylight, with the right technique, you can good shots with entry level. You do not need a billion frames a second, you just need to know when they shoot and hit their targets.

Correct. A lot of it is dependent on the lighting... If it's outdoor and bright, chances are an entry level can do the job. If you're dealing with indoor sports photography though, you need a top of the line D3 or thereabouts. Sports photography in general is something you do NOT want to pursue unless you have a very large budget.

agreed

more important is the lens, i would go for the 70-200 f/2.8 IS/VR (not needed for sports but is included in the better quality lenses) and then maybe a 50mm f/1.4
and when u see the price u will realize

If your just starting out and you want something easy to use but takes pretty sweet pictures look into the Canon Rebel XS. It's pretty nifty! :)
