It's not old. I'm engraving it to everyone's mind that this is a problem that should be dealt with. The same way we laugh about photo techniques in the 70's, the future will laugh at this generation for obsessing over photoshop and not getting even skin tones right. It doesn't just take a quick photoshop to balance the skin tones - if that were the case, they'd have installed it as an automatic process in Nikon camera's software. To get rid of it completely, you actually have to do 2 layers worth of work.
Of course, if you don't care about the actual quality of your images, then that's not an issue.
Why would you comment about 'this price range' when Nikon glass is over-inflated? Sure, you'll save a hundred dollars on a body, but you'll pay ten times as much over your photographic journey when you invest in glass.
yeah i agree it is a problem, but not a big1, obv nikon hav higher priorities
in the entry and low level dslr price range nikon are better
nikon's 24-70 is cheaper, and i believe better
canon's 70-200 is the same
nikon grips are cheaper
it pretty much balances itself out, depending on what u are shooting
if anyone is paying 10x as much then they have a serious problem, and who knows what the prices will be like in the future
i am doing a serious upgrade of all my equipment atm, and am considering both canon and nikon ff, 24-70, 70-200 +++
the 5d is great as far as bang for your buck
i find nikon easier to use, and faster to change the required settings
its a tough choice to make atm
