Wow what a pain in the butt!!!
You really need to ask her how many pictures she wants in the album and after you chose the best ones, she needs to tell you which ones she wants...
Women are like that (I know for a fact): they will tell you a little but not all, then they will not be happy if you don't deliver the product she wants..
So you really have to meet with her and get the cards on the table....

Marie is right. Use a contract, and define EVERYTHING, such as number of pages, number of revisions, budget, payment dates, etc.

I cant believe a wedding album could be so complicated :(

You guys scared me a little now, lol. Especially about what if she doesnt like it, etc. Because its not like I can meet her and talk to her in person about anything. Shes back in DC and Im in Oklahoma now..I really dont want to put in a ton of work and my own money and then get screwed.

Thanks for the input everyone, its giving me a lot to think about.

There are some companies that do the design as well. What you can do is a nice google search and lead her on that way.

Album design has potential for a lot of profit, however, and you'd get the experience + sample of having one, which is a big +.
Your biggest concern should be the approval process. Get a general idea of what photos she want, and you design the album according to your tastes. Show it to her in the form of screenshots, and have her tell you what she likes / dislikes, or if she finds it to be perfect, order it. As soon as you get a written 'ok' your job is done.

Make sure she pre-pays.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Designing an album is fun - you get to express yourself artistically. For albums around that price range, I'd go with Shutterfly or Picaboo. They're consumer album makers, but offer decent paper quality, easy-to-use software, and start you off with like 20 pages for 30 USD.

Shutterfly!

I created a book online there with my wedding photos, and it turned out beautifully. I actually got it free though, a special through Best Buy for purchasing a computer lol.

And yes definitely get her to prepay.
