I think the wb is right.. the fact that it's in the shade and water reflecting from underneath them gave them the slighly blueish tone. O_O

Yeah that's cause of the water reflection prolly.

Looking at the way the sunlight is, it seems like it's approaching sunset, and such light is not mid-day looking like in this photo, but instead has more yellow tones. Wb is off since he probably auto'd it and it made the sunset light the base. Ofc, if this is morning light, then it's supposed to be more blue :)

Cameras aren't actually accurate. It's what you set them to. If he moved from somewhere else to venice, that means the time is wrong.
