inb4Omar.

Canon Nikon mount adapter. Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8. Can't go wrong.

And to be serious. Of course 50mm primes are worth it. Primes > Zooms, any day.

actually you will go wrong with that. 14-24 doesent have aperature ring in it, so you can only shoot it wide open, unless you have a nikon body that you use for stopping it down. also it would only work with manual focus. not to mention that we dont know if he is looking for ultra wide angle..

sigma 50mm 1.4 is superior to canon version in some aspects, but canon is superior to it in some aspects. canons 1.8 has the best value for money, but if you want to pay extra for 1.4, you will get extra

I own the Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens, and I can tell you I love it for what I need it for. Canon's is of course better, but the price tag is much higher.

Getting Sigma lenses, though, sometimes they aren't as sharp and need to be sent in to be calibrated. If you get a good one, awesome  I went with the Sigma only because of the price on it compared to the Canon... perhaps there's a better choice with wide angles these days. Good luck with your choice, I'm sure you'll have fun with it.

Nikon is better in wide angles, for now. Of course, Nikon can never come close to Canon's telephotos.

Dayum! Kind of wish I knew that back when I bought mine, haha. They're probably worth a lot more ?

You bought a wide angle? Or are you talking about the 24-70?

How much for? Only curious. I don't have a penny saved up at all for a lens like that.

1k+ shipping if direct, or 1k+ shipping + fees if through amazon or paypal. It's a guaranteed sharp version (one of the sharpest i've seen), so if I wanted to I could even sell it even higher than new to the right buyer :D
A photographer I know had to return his lens 7 times before he got a sharp version :\

Whatever is cheaper would be the easiest for me, if I purchased it from you. Such a pain ... spend so much on a lens and don't get a decent one? Stupid. Do you at least get it calibrated for free?
