Excellent light and great composition! Love the "warm snowy halos" around the plant, the shadows going across the stream adds a nice touch.

I am somehow not the best happy about the light on that picture...

Maybe this is better ?

ZOMG CONTRAST/BLACKS. That will be a horrible print :(

I like the original. The edit version looks like boosted contrast/ oversharpen.

It killed the picture :(

Sorry... but no...
I prefer the soft light in mine, although I had added some contrast already...

Ok I went back on sunrise and froze myself doing so, yet I'm not quite satisfied with the lighting :(
I used a polarising filter this time, the old one I used to have with film camera
Just for trying...
I think they are both better than the first one, but I feel there is something missing in the light..
Maybe sunset would be better?
Unfortunately I will be working 5 nights in a row starting this afternoon, and will not see a sunset till the 31st.... and almost everyday we had some snowy clouds, so nothing good photowise for sunset :p

Marie your white balance is off, unless you wanted to go for that 'mornin' blueish looks. These would also benefit from just a tad bit of brightness. #2 is really good.
