I shot this all with the 1ds Mark III, 50 1.2 and 24-70.

I used two large constant daylight tubed flood lights with barn doors to light it (with some diffusion)

I had it shooting tethered to a laptop so I was getting directed in the shoot a lot and didn't have a whole lot of say in what was happening!

They wanted a really white, minimalistic type of shot for their menus. Would of loved to used props (cutlery, glasses, ingredients, actual nice light etc) and done it properly but it was more of a favour job than a proper job so it's gotta be done as fast and cheaply as possible ;)

The lighting is good, but I think the DOF is too thin on all but the 1st image. That's not to say that you can't shoot food at that f stop, but the way these are framed I think they would look better with more in focus.
